This is an experimental community-operated DOGEstonia node. Running it has real infrastructure costs, but financial support does not buy influence over Stories, Issues, moderation, visibility, priority, or governance.
Contributions fund node infrastructure only. They do not buy priority, visibility, moderation power, routing preference, or governance rights.

The Story intake system currently uses a hosted model because its instruction and reasoning layer is still complex enough that the local/open-source models we are currently prepared to operate are not yet a practical replacement. Provider and model come from node infrastructure configuration.

Current baseline hosting cost is approximately $5/month. Actual cost may change with traffic and workload.
Supabase / data platform

Node resources currently use the operator’s paid Supabase account because separate projects were required. Moving to a dedicated account is welcome.

Public accounting intention
The intention is to publish the node’s infrastructure expenses and incoming contributions openly, so residents can see what the node costs and how support is used.
Reduce single-person dependency
The current setup still depends too much on one person: infrastructure accounts, billing and administration are partially tied to the original operator. The goal is to move these responsibilities to a local support structure so the node does not depend on one individual.
A separate node-owned operational structure would make responsibility for infrastructure, access control and data-protection processes clearer and less dependent on one private individual.
